I found out this morning that Chris works at ASU when he showed up at my hall looking for access to one of the other halls. Had dinner last night with the beloved, his mom and his best friend who's in town from Virginia where he's being stationed to train to go to Iraq. Hopefully, the military will train his unit before sending them over there. Even more hopefully, the military will forget about his unit altogether and just let them go on being stationed in VA until this bloody thing is over. Dinner was nice, even if I was feeling a bit anti-social. ( When I get bored at work I like to take quizzes...and watch music videos on yahoo )

I have spent the greater part of this afternoon going through old entries tagging them. Why? General insanity, that's all I can come up with. I did, however, come across something that I'd meant to post months ago and never did. So I'll post it now. Again, I wish that I knew better how to manipulate html. Oh! My friend Al has recently decided to join LA rollerderby. Frickin sweet! I just know she's gonna kick some *ss. ( Look! I really do have a dark side )

Because I'm really bored at work, I will post this. I initially got it as an email, but thought it would be fun to paste here. Hey, like I said, I'm really bored. Sorry for the crappy formatting. I don't feel like completely fixing it. ( More accurate than the horoscope ) my opinion in run-down format: AUGUST: Loves to joke. -absolutely Attractive. -it would be nice if I was Suave and caring. -me suave? that's funny. caring, yes. Brave and fearless. -yes Firm and has leadership qualities. -yes Knows how to console others. - sometimes Too generous and egoistic. -I wish I was too generous. Really I think I'm the opposite. Takes high pride of oneself. -sometimes Thirsty for praises. -never. I could care less what people think of me. Extraordinary spirit. -aw, thank you Easily angered. Angry when provoked. -yep Observant. -usually Careful and cautious. -also ususally, I get in trouble when I'm not Thinks quickly. Independent thoughts. -yep Loves to lead and to be led. -also yes Loves to dream. -understatement Talented in the arts, music and defense. -surprisingly yes Sensitive but not petty. -I'd like to think so Poor resistance against illnesses. -no, except for strep throat Learns to relax. -learns? Hasty and trusty. -I only trust people to an extent Romantic. Loving and caring. Loves to make friends. -yes, yes and yes Yeah, fun. And I got to waste a little less than an hour. Good deal.

Holy nearly incoherent ramblings, Batman! ( Odds and ends and update-y bits ) Am re-reading "Lamb" by Christopher Moore. Started it again right around Easter. I like some of the ideas he has about Jesus. Some of my favorite passages: Author's Blessing If you have come to these pages for laughter, may you find it.
